Georgia has over a decade of experience in politics and advocacy. She has run national & state advocacy campaigns, raised millions online in grassroots donations, created a comprehensive leadership training curriculum and has helped organize citizen lobbying in Washington, DC. She has been profiled in the Chicago Reader by Chris Hayes and her work has been cited in The Washington Post, The New York Times and other publications.

Notable accomplishments:

  • Devised online grassroots strategy that raised over $1.25 million in 10 months for a top-tier campaign
  • Designed and implemented strategy to create a national nonprofit supporter network, cultivating an op-in supporter list representing every state in the country
  • Organized a group of 35,000 online supporters into 16 chapters across the state of Illinois holding monthly meetings, candidate forums, policy seminars and advocacy trainings and personally trained hundreds of advocates in rural and urban areas across the state
  • Developed nonprofit grassroots policy and relief campaign which raised over $237,000 in 14 days ($50,000 in the first 50 hours)
  • Grew email list from 11,000 to over 75,000 by targeted use of splash/landing pages, social media cultivation, online advocacy campaigns, and ad campaigns
  • Successful website management (design, content development, coding and Google Analytics), social media brand management, email list management (creating and implementing action- oriented email strategy), and coordination of traditional media and new media strategies
